I am a member of the nationally recognized Tri Beta Biology Honors Society. As part of this group I attend various meetings and events. Some of these events are community service opportunities, such as the Breast Cancer walk. Others are biology related events, such as talks from medical schools or cleaning the biology labs. This society may be able to provide assistance with my senior research and provides an excellent outlet to be involved in the biology department. It is also capable of showing me what may lie ahead in my future, as the medical school presentations and alumni of the program provide an excellent look into what's next.

I am currently the president of the society. I served as the vice president of this chapter during the fall of my senior year, and I was the secretary during my junior year.
