This I Believe

"Choice, not chance, determines destiny." This I believe with all my heart. This is a statement that I have posted on my wall. It is the first thing that I see when I wake up each morning. It reminds me that everything I do has consequences, for better or for worse. I always try to dedicate myself to every aspect of my life and to put my best effort forth in all that I do. This quote embodies this portion of my character. As an athlete and a person with high expectations for myself, I take great care in selecting my decisions so that it benefits all parties possible. Time and time again I turn to this statement to remind me that my actions do indeed lead to some sort of change, and hopefully more times than not it is for the better.
