Says: "I LOVE the quote and visuals you added to your portfolio. It is very detailed and organized. I especially like how you went into detail about guided reading groups and conferencing. This concepts can be very intimidating for a teacher, but you differentiate between the different ways to assess and this will be very helpful for new teachers, like ourselves to know the ropes of how to run these types of assessments. I will defiantly be referring to your e-portfolio for my workshop. You provided such detailed information! "

Says: "Well done, Kori, adding in a thoughtful section about your in-class experiences learning with/from Richard. I appreciate how you broke down your analysis using specific assessments to guide your thinking. One small critique is to avoid phrases like "weren't very strong". You support the idea with specific data but general statements can be misunderstood....something we work on in practicum! It is always a pleasure to read your work! Truly truly!"

Says: "Thoughtful entry, Kori. I especially love the additional resources yuo found that incorporate interest and parent interviews and inventories. Wonderful. One thing missing from the entry is your reaction to conducting early literacy assessments with Richard. What did you learn from that experience? What did you notice? How did you evaluate his responses? How did it shape your thoughts about next steps for instruction? Make those additions and you are all set. 9/12"
