For the Ecotopia Socratic Seminar, I was entitled as the speaker. My coach for this seminar was Andrea and I thought we made a great team. I was very excited about this seminar because I was very excited about the book! I thought it was a phenomenal book and was very excited about what my classmates had to say about all the thoughts raised in the Ecotopia. Although this discussion was better than the last, due to the fact that the last one turned into a debate, I felt like for this socratic seminar, there was not an easy flow as much as there usually is. Usually, conversations just flow and we all build on each other's ideas but in this one, I felt like there was some elaboration on ideas but for the most part, one person would speak, and then there would be a pause and then a continuation of another idea. I don't think it was in any way a bad discussion, I think I would have simply preferred more contribution from other classmates as well as a better steady flow like the way we always have socratic seminars. Other than that, I enjoyed the discussion and contributing and listening to various ideas surrounding the great book.
