One function that your Portfolio serves is that of a repository of your best work, the work that has been most meaningful to you, the work that you are most proud of, the work that you worked the hardest on, the work that demonstrates ways in which you have grown and developed as an intellectual person, or work that you want us to see for whatever reason.  The sample may be a paper, a photograph, a video of a dance or music recital, a piece of creative writing, or a mathematical proof, to name a few examples. Upload at least one piece of work that you have created since your Sophomore submission you want to showcase here.

In approximately 250 words, please also provide an explanation about the sample of work that you have submitted.  In your essay state the following: why you have included this particular work, what makes it meaningful to you, what you learned in both the creation and completion of this work, and how you have grown from it.

We expect a well-organized, thoughtful response demonstrating your ability to articulate your ideas clearly and concisely.  It is expected that you work closely with your advisor in drafting the essay.  Please see the Manhattanville Portfolio System website for a rubric describing the expectations for this essay.
