To Whom It May Concern,

I have had the pleasure of working with Monika Vargova as her cooperating teacher for eight weeks in a second grade placement. I found her a joy to work with because of her willingness to help and her eagerness to learn. She was a very enthusiastic, dedicated, organized, and conscientious student teacher. She consistently demonstrated her ability to be a team player among both staff and students.

Monika’s lessons are always well planned and executed. Her organization is strong and certainly an asset to her teaching. Her lessons are always engaging. Monika’s lessons address the different learning styles of all of the students. She always made sure she differentiated her lessons to meet the needs of students that are accelerated and needed reinforcement; as well as working with children with and IEP and functioning far below grade level. Monika also used technology, Smartboard, to help enhance many of her lessons while teaching social studies, mathematics, and language arts.

Monika expresses sincere concern about her pupils. Her attitude is that of a professional. I feel that she has an excellent background in science, math, social studies, art, and especially language arts which is an important asset for an elementary school teacher. She also worked extremely well with the English Language Learners.

Monika’s performance was that of an experienced teacher. She demonstrated knowledge of a variety of teaching techniques and she executed her lessons creatively and professionally. Monika has that special spark that defines a great teacher but cannot be described.

I have every confidence that Monika will be an excellent teacher and an asset to any school system.
