Micheline S. Malow, PhD

Brief Bio: 

Micheline Malow is a Professor of Special Education at Manhattanville College’s outstanding School of Education, where she teaches courses in Foundations of Special Education, Research in Special Education and Literacy, Assessment in Special Education, and Child and Adolescent Development.  Dr. Malow serves as co-chair of the Department of Special Education and as the liaison to the Manhattanville Student Chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). 

Additionally, Dr. Malow has presented at numerous professional conferences and published articles on students at risk, strategies for working with students who have exceptional needs, and educational program reviews.  She has co-authored a book for Praeger Publishers titled Adolescents and Risk. Dr. Malow is editor and contributor to an international online resource for teachers, Learning Disabilities Worldwide (LDW) as part of their Strategies for Successful Learning (SSL) publication.
