Hi, my name is Michaela Muckell and I am currently a 7th grade English teacher at Felix V. Festa Middle School in West Nyack, NY.

I graduated from Manhattanville College in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a minor in Studio Art. As part of the 5-Year Education program, I continued on to receive my Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2018. I am certified to teach English grades 5-9 and 7-12. 

Driving my love of teaching is an intense determination to reach the students, excite them to learn, and to encourage them to be kind, informed, and responsible individuals as they embark on their own journeys. It is this determination, along with my flexibility, communication, and resourcefulness, that I believe makes me an effective and engaging educator.
