I am currently part of Cohort 7 in Manhattanville's Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership. I have a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mahttanville College and a Masters in School Administration from Manhattan College
I have been in education for over 15 years with experiences within the New York City Department of Education and Yonkers Public Schools, as a general and special education teacher, and literacy coach. I am certified early childhood and childhood, in both general education and students with disabilities. In addition, I have my School Building Leader certification and my School District Leader internship certification.
I am currently the Director of Early Childhood Education in the Yonkers Public School District and a member of the Yonkers Basics advisory board.
I am passionate about early childhood and I am currently doing my research on the effects of developmentally inappropriate activities in the kindergarten classroom.
