I feel like my academic background here at Manhattanville College has greatly prepared me for a career path in education. Some of my general education classes, such as Power, Authority, Leadership, and Ethics and Introduction to Sociology, have really opened my eyes to exploring the things I love, while also giving me valuable skills and knowledge that I can use in my everyday career as well as my personal life. I believe that if I did not receive the academic training from all my general education classes, I would not be as well versed in as many subject areas.
