When most people ask me why I chose to major in Biochemistry, I jokingly answer that I like biology and I like chemistry, so biochemistry is double the fun. Perhaps, most people don't like to use 'fun' and 'biochemistry' in the same sentence, but for me, I truly enjoyed taking various challenging and interdesciplinary courses that are required for a biochemistry major in Manhattanville college. Some of the courses that I have taken include Bioethics, Molecular cell biology, Recombinant DNA technology, Histology and Organic chemistry.
