Throughout the semester we worked with Professor Williams, an educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to develop and understand the process that a museum undergoes to educate the public. This class included various tools on museum education such as, textbooks, movies and articles. As a group project we created our own education program that coincides with New York State Art requirements. Our program consisted of several qualities that met New York State Grant certification. Using the reading from our class and homework, we cited several works for our final paper and presented our program to the class at the end of the semester.
