My professional career at the State University of New York MARITIME COLLEGE is divided into four major aspects:

1) Chief Mate onboard the school's training ship Empire State each summer;

2) Chair, Department of Marine Transportation, Navigation and Nautical Science and Asso. Prof. of Navigation and Marine Transportation, which fills my normal working day during the year;

3) Assistant Presiding Officer /Parliamentarian of the college faculty,  where I fulfill my obligations in Faculty Service

As with all professionals, each of these responsibilities comes with its own subset of committees and organizations in which I am involved, all streamlined toward my unifying professional goal...
