While doing this project we realized that creating a social awareness message for our peers is not as easy as we thought. First you have to think what is the message you want to carry across and then think about the type of public you have. Depending on your audience you choose a medium to present you message. For the message to stick you have to look for a way to make it memorable for your audience. People don't have the time today to sit down and read a lot, they just have time for short, catchy and shocking news. That is why companies use jingles and statistics, for it to make it more relatable and entertaining for the public. Clearly things are more easily said than done and this project was a complete expereince for all of us. We got to see the real side of media, the production part of it. This is why we decided to make a video and an eportfolio. People love videos and even more if they are funny because they are most likely to remember it. We also did an eportfolio because it is an excellent way to expose our message to our community while also attaching important and valuable data, as well as our mockumentary. We hope you like it!
